1. Waking Up

Alhamdulillah alladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur

الحمد لله الذي أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا وإليه النشور

“All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.”

Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

بِسْمِ اللهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ

“In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor might except with Allah.”

Allahumma inni a‘udhu bika min al-khubthi wal-khaba’ith

“O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all evil and evil-doers.”

“In the name of Allah we enter and leave, and upon our Lord we place our trust.”

“O Allah, guide me and make me steadfast.”

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhaban-nar

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
